- 3 cups raw spinach
- Sprinkling of cinnamon (however much you like; cinnamon controls blood sugar)
- 4 ice cubes
- Protein powder of your choice
- And 1/2 cup of water (more or less depending on your liking)
Blend until smooth. Enjoy!
I add a teaspoon of spirulina and maca root to one of mine usually the morning.
I love cinnamon in every conventional recipe that it can be found in, but mixing it with spinach in a smoothie? That’s a very odd mix and I admit that I’m very wary about trying it. But I do like the fact that cinnamon helps control blood sugar. Maybe I’ll try this with my eyes closed, so I can reserve judgment solely on taste. Thanks for sharing!

Right! I was too but it's surprisingly yummy. It takes the edge off the spinach taste, which isn't typo bad cause raw spinach isn't as strong as cooked. Let me know what u think!
